According to the journalist, José Carlos Canales, Xolos right-back Vladimir Loroña is interested in coming to Club América this summer.
Loroña is under contract until 2023, so América would have to open the chequebook in order to secure his services.
Currently, Transfermarkt has the Mexico U-23 international valued at $2.2m and it’s believed it will take around that much to pry him out of Tijuana.
The América board is looking to reinforce the back-line and reduce the number of foreigners in the squad with the return of Nicolás Castillo.
The 22-year-old Loroña has already featured in 82 first-team matches in Mexico, 36 with Puebla and 46 with Xolos.
