Four years ago, Cristiano Ronaldo struck a seventh-minute penalty against Atlético Madrid in the 2014 Copa del Rey semi-final second leg.
With that goal, Ronaldo became one of just a just a small group of footballers, including Zlatan Ibrahimović, to score in every minute of a football match throughout his career.
On Wednesday, Italian web developer Lorenzo Furini published an incredible graph which displays how many goals Ronaldo has scored in each minute of a football match.
It’s worth pointing out that not only has Ronaldo scored in each minute of a match, the Portuguese legend has also scored goals in each minute up to the seventh minute of stoppage time.
The graph also shows that Ronaldo has scored most often in the 23rd minute (15 goals), and has put the ball in the back of the net in the 92nd minute on a whopping 12 occasions.
It’s also interesting to note that Ronaldo has scored on just six occasions in extra time – much more than your average footballer, yet the number still seems awfully tame.
