ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Liverpool signed Thiago from Bayern Munich for a transfer fee of €22 million last summer.

Thiago played reasonably well for Liverpool in his debut season. The midfielder averaged a WhoScored player rating of 7.06 across the 2020-21 campaign.

However, we believe that Thiago will only improve on last season now that he has had a full campaign to adapt to a new country and league.

With that being the case, we can’t wait to watch Thiago play for Liverpool next season.
