We are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Amanda Nildén from Juventus.
After joining the Club from the Serie A side in January, 2024, on an initial six-month loan, the defender has signed a contract that will run until 2027.
An attack-minded full-back, Amanda became an integral part of Robert Vilahamn’s side during the second half of the 2023/24 campaign, starting in ten consecutive games in the Barclays Women’s Super League, helping us finish inside the top six of the table for the second time in our history.
The 25-year-old made a total of 16 appearances in all competitions, including four starts in the Women’s FA Cup as we reached the final of the competition for the first time, where she featured in the showpiece event at Wembley Stadium in May.
At international level, she has made nine appearances for her country to date and was part of Sweden’s squad for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, where they reached the semi-final of the competition.
