In a mostly miserable first half of the season for Manchester United, Amad Diallo has been a bright spark, marrying goals and assists with work-rate and an excellent attitude. It has made him a favourite among the Old Trafford faithful.

But who is his favourite, and ultimate, footballer?

In a segment with Sky Sports, the Ivorian international was asked a series of questions about players he has either played with or watched as a fan.

Some of the players mentioned were Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba, and current teammates Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, but as it nearly always does, the challenge came to the two usual suspects.

Amad has a long way to go before he can be mentioned alongside United greats like Rooney and Ronaldo, but he looks set to be a key figure under new head coach Ruben Amorim, having already grabbed four assists from his new wing-back position.

United are next in action on Thursday night, when they face Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League, before travelling to the Etihad on Sunday for what should be a fascinating Manchester Derby.
