Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray are in contact with Serie A outfits Milan to materialise a transfer for Alvaro Morata.
According to a report by Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray have made significant advancements in their bid to sign Milan forward Alvaro Morata.
Talks are underway between the Istanbul-based side and the Rossoneri over a potential permanent transfer. Both sides are willing to close the deal soon and Milan are ready to lose the player and bring in someone more capable for their attacking role.
This move could be Galatasaray’s way of securing their future upfront as the arrival of Morata would send a clear message to interested clubs that Victor Osimhen will leave after the end of the loan period.
The 32-year-old’s transfer is set to be agreed in the next few hours and the official announcement will come before the deadline.
Milan are expected to sign Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez soon as a replacement for Morata.
