West Ham United entertained Freiburg at the London Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win at home in the UEFA Europa League. The Hammers made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 14th minute when Mohammed Kudus found the back of the net. Edson Alvarez doubled his team’s advantage in the 42nd minute as David Moyes’ men went into the half-time interval 2-0 to the good.

The East London club controlled the game well in the second half and earned an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

Soucek earned the ball back multiple times for his team and offered decent protection for his backline.
