West Ham have decided to not pursue a permanent deal for Carlos Soler.
The PSG and Spain international has been on loan this season in east London, with a high expectation when he arrived to make a significant impact this campaign.
However, despite showing signs at time this season, Soler hasn’t really lived up to expectation, and new boss Graham Potter has opted to seek other options when we explore the transfer market this summer, its been reported by insider ExWHUEmployee.
“Carlos Soler is set to return to PSG at the end of the season, with the club deciding against signing him,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way.
“Potter feels that James Ward-Prowse is better suited and offers more, with him already making an impact despite only returning from his Nottingham Forest loan in January.
“Solers wages are also a big factor, so therefore he will be left to return to PSG with West Ham to look at alternative options this summer.”
