When it comes to Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies, they are in absolutely no rush to secure his signing.

Though the Canadian has long been tipped as a leading target on the part of the Blancos hierarchy, the understanding is that, should Bayern not agree to lower their considerable demands for a player with just 12 months remaining on his contract, Real will simply wait it out to snap Davies up on a free.

This comes against the backdrop of the long-standing belief of Carlo Ancelotti in the talents of Ferland Mendy.

After a stellar campaign last time out, which saw the Frenchman prove pivotal in the capital heavyweights’ domestic and European double, Mendy is considered the priority by the coaching staff at Valdebebas.
