According to Maximilian Koch, Bayern Munich have decided not to increase their contractual offer to Alphonso Davies.

Over the past twelve months, Real Madrid’s pursuit of Alphonso Davies has been well documented, with the transfer saga ebbing back and forth between both sides.

However, now, Der Rekordmeister have decided to force the Canadian left-back to make a decision on his future.

Recently, it had been reported that the record champions had offered Davies a new contract, which was believed to see the 23-year-old earn an annual salary of €13–€14 million.

Nevertheless, this was far from Davies’ reported demand of €20 million a year, a figure that both Real and Bayern have been reluctant to match.

As of yet, Davies has failed to give Bayern the green light on whether he will sign the new deal, but the record champions have decided that this will be their final offer.

The Canadian is currently on vacation, but if he elects to reject Bayern’s proposal, then it has been agreed internally that the club will attempt to offload Davies this summer.
