Almeria’s Darwin Núñez offered to Roma

Finding an alternative to Edin Dzeko this summer remains high on the priority list of Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi.

A host of names have been linked with a potential summer move to the Giallorossi and another can be added to the list: Almeria’s Darwin Núñez.

Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo has reported that the 20 year-old striker has been offered to Roma as a reinforcement. The Uruguayan has netted 12 times in Spain’s second division this term and has captured the interested of many teams both in Spain and abroad.

It remains to be seen if Petrachi will strike the final blow to bring the youngster to the Italian capital, but he’s an option the club is considering.
