Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin admits his future at the club depends on their ambition moving forward.
Saint-Maximin quickly became a fans’ favourite following his arrival last summer, and has established himself as a key player for Steve Bruce.
But his performances have alerted several top clubs across Europe which continues to concern those at the club.
“For my part, everything will depend on this development,” he told Sport. “If the club is developing well – staying is a possibility.
“Afterwards, if things don’t turn out like that, obviously the question of leaving will arise.
“Now we are in a huge league with a lot of big teams, so being able to play in Europe and the Europa League would be really great.
“The Champions League is a big dream, every footballer wants to play it.
“It’s a great, historic club that has a lot of dreams and there is everything around it to achieve this goal.”
Newcastle return to domestic action against Manchester United on October 17.
