All the stats as Mason Mount saves Chelsea in desperate game

Chelsea won 2-1 against Watford tonight, in one of the ugliest games we can remember.

The much changed Blues were utterly awful in the first half, and little better in the second period. They could barely pass the ball through midfield, let alone create chances in attack.

But in the end they scored twice, and in large part that was down to Mason Mount.

The midfielder had our best chance of the first half when he hit the post, and he then scored the goal to give us the lead.

Just as we looked set to labour to a well-deserved draw, it was Mount who popped up again, linking up nicely with Marcos Alonso down the left and then playing the ball back to Hakim Ziyech to score the winner.

After a game off on Sunday, it was brilliant to see him back in the team and back to his best tonight. You can see his stats in the Twitter post above.
