Liverpool have recently been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe.

Some Liverpool supporters have stated that the European Super League fiasco will be forgotten if FSG sign Mbappe this summer.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We would love to see Mbappe playing for Liverpool as of next season. He is a world-class talent.

The 22-year-old has scored 125 goals and registered 60 assists in 165 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe’s overall game has been in good shape this season. The Frenchman is averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.59.

If FSG did sign Mbappe, it would be a pretty good apology for signing the club up for the European Super League.

Mbappe has a current market value of €160 million. Therefore, the Frenchman would cost FSG quite a bit of money.

But, Mbappe’s arrival would highlight that FSG are invested in the club.
