Alfred Schreuder replaces Philippe Clement as coach of Club Brugge.

Schreuder (49) brings a lot of experience with him. The Dutchman was head coach of Twente and Hoffenheim and assistant-coach of Vitesse, Twente, Ajax and FC Barcelona. Schreuder recently refused an offer of the Swiss top team FC Basel. The former player of e.g. Feyenoord joins the team as quickly as possible in Marbella. Today's training session will be lead by De Mil, Hoefkens and De Mets.

Next to Alfred Schreuder, assistant Danijel Zenkovic also joins the Blues. Zenkovic (34) was T2 of Werder Bremen until now and speaks Dutch fluently. He was active at 'De Toekomst', the Youth Academy of Ajax Amsterdam before. Goalkeeper coach Frederic De Boever will be replaced by Carlo L’Ami. The 55-year-old Dutchman was the goalkeeper coach of Ajax 1 for 13 years. Both coaches sign, in line with Schreuder himself, a contract for an indefinite period at Club.

Schreuder, Zenkovic and L’Ami complete the staff of Club 1 together with Hoefkens and De Mets and physical coaches Rob and Vandenbussche.
