Alexis Vega had been preparing to join Chivas in the United States for a pair of friendlies during this October international break.

However, it appears the striker will stay home and train to prepare for their clash at Rayados as his red-card suspension was overturned on Tuesday.

During Chivas’ 1-1 draw with Pumas, Vega was sent off for an apparent stamp on Alan Mozo, but after the FMF took their time to review the incident, they ruled the stamp was not on purpose.

Chivas are currently in Sacramento, California to prepare for a mid-week friendly with Monarcas. They will face Club León in Carson, California on Saturday.
