Alexis Vega close to signing new Chivas contract | OneFootball

During the last few months, it has been mentioned that Alexis Vega will sign a new Chivas contract but whether he stays after the end of next season is up in the air regardless of what happens.

It’s clear that in 2023, Vega is looking to leave Liga MX to emigrate to European soccer but at the moment, nothing is clear.

However, there is one thing for certain: Vega’s love for Chivas. However, he is not willing to make any unnecessary sacrifices in order for Chivas to get paid for his departure.

“Don’t worry, I think I’ve always given my best, I’ve worn the colors properly, it’s an institution that deserves it,” he said in an interview with Azteca Deportes.

“We have been talking about my renewal, on my part I am doing everything so that it can be achieved.

“But hey, in the end, one can want everything and sometimes an agreement is not reached.

“I am trying to finish it as soon as possible so I am able to give the fans a lot of joy.”

Vega showed discomfort in one of his knees and did not train regularly on Thursday but still made the matchday squad for this weekend’s Classic.
