Alexis Sanchez To Wear Number 11 For Inter

Inter’s latest Summer transfer window recruit Alexis Sanchez will be given the number 11 shirt to wear this season at the club according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The shirt number is currently already occupied by defender Federico Dimarco but the Rome based news outlet state that the Italian youth international will change his number to 21 to allow 30-year-old Sanchez to wear the number 11 shirt.

The change has been given the green light by the league organisers due to the fact Dimarco has not featured for the club this season in league action.

Sanchez could well make his first appearance in Nerazzurri in tonight’s match away in Sardinia against Cagliari. Fellow new recruit Cristiano Biraghi will have to wait for his second debut in an Inter shirt as he was not included in the squad for the match to enable him to remain in Milan and get his fitness levels up.
