Inter have confirmed that Alexis Sánchez will miss the rest of 2019 after undergoing ankle surgery.
Sánchez joined the Italian side this summer after a torrid 18 months at Manchester United, and started well at his new side, netting twice on debut.

But it seems that bad luck is following the Chile international, with Inter now revealing that the attacker has gone under the knife to repair tendons in his left ankle.
He will be unavailable for at least three months.
