Simone Inzaghi could start with Alexis Sanchez on the pitch against Atalanta on Sunday evening after his late Supercoppa Italiana winner, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
As has been reported by Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, one of either Lautaro Martinez or Edin Dzeko are likely to be dropped to the bench for a rest with the Chilean forward starting to see if he can build on his goal on Wednesday night.
Alexis Sanchez scored the winning goal in the Supercoppa Italiana final against Juventus with the last kick of the game but that would not be the only reason for Simone Inzaghi to start him against La Dea. He has been in good form for the last five games.
Matteo Darmian may also be given a start in the match in Bergamo so that Denzel Dumfries can be rested and the Italian can build his fitness.
