Alexis Mac Allister has played down fears of a significant injury after limping off in Liverpool's 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
The midfielder started the game but failed to emerge for the second half, having remained in the dressing room after complaining of a possible groin injury.
Manager Arne Slot admitted he was unsure of the severity of Mac Allister's issue, but the Argentina international has now assured fans there is nothing to worry about.
"I felt a slight discomfort during the game, but nothing that will stop me," he wrote on social media. "Now, fully focused on what's ahead."
Mac Allister later posted an image of his arrival at the Argentina training camp, where he will likely face a final examination from team staff before being formally cleared for competitive action.
News of Mac Allister's fitness comes as a real boost to Liverpool, who also lost goalkeeper Alisson to a hamstring injury which is expected to force him into a spell on the sidelines.
Alisson will withdraw from the Brazil squad to remain with Liverpool, who appear set to be without their starting goalkeeper for the visit of Chelsea on October 20.
