Manchester United forward Alexis Sánchez was reportedly ‘left fuming’ after clashing with teenager Mason Greenwood during the club’s pre-season preparations.
Sanchez – who suffered a hamstring injury while playing for Chile in the Copa América – had an angry exchange with Greenwood following a heavy tackle during training.
According to Sun Sport, the 30-year-old felt Greenwood used too much force during a crucial time in his rehabilitation.
Angry words were then exchanged between the pair, before the situation was diffused by other United squad members.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists Alexis does feature in his plans this season but it’s understood that club officials want to force the Chile international out.
Greenwood, however, has been earmarked to feature prominently after impressing throughout pre-season.
