Alexia Putellas has withdrawn from Spain’s Nations League squad due to injury concerns.
The two-time Ballon d’Or winner has not featured for Barcelona since 14 November and will now miss the upcoming games with Italy and Sweden.

Given her ongoing knee discomfort, Putellas will now return to the European champions, who will monitor the issue.
La Roja, however, still look set to to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
The Women’s World Cup winners host Italy and then Switzerland, needing just one more point to reach the semi-finals.
