Putellas captained Barcelona to a domestic treble in 2022, scoring 34 goals in all competitions during the 2021/22 season.

Barça also reached the Champions League final last term where they were beaten by Lyon, but Putellas was still named the tournament’s best player and the top scorer with 11 goals.

Sadly for the 28-year-old, a knee injury just days before Euro 2022 began meant she was unable to represent Spain at the tournament, but 2022 will still be remembered as the year she became La Roja’s most capped player with 100 appearances.
