Alex Scott will become the first English speaking female broadcaster to feature in a FIFA video game when FIFA 22 comes out in October.

The former Arsenal and England full-back will appear in the game as a pitch-side reporter, taking over from Alan McInally.

Scott has become a household name for her television punditry in recent years and will also be the new host of BBC Sport’s Football Focus from next season onwards.

In other FIFA news, Lee Dixon will be replaced on co-commentary duty by former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Stewart Robson.

Derek Rae will remain in the main commentary hotseat.
