The last UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final takes place on Monday, and Wolfsburg have one player to thank for her role against Arsenal.
The visitors found themselves down after roughly 10 minutes, but one of their star players has led the German club to an incredible turnaround.
Alexandra Popp, making her return to action from injury, assisted former Arsenal star Jill Roord for the equaliser before heading home 2-1 in the second half.
It is her first goal against the Gunners in six appearances – doing so in front of a record UWCL crowd in England of a little over 60,000.
An instinctual finish from one of the game’s greats.
Will it be enough?
