Alex Kirk made Arsenal bench for victory at West Ham

Alex Kirk made Arsenal's matchday squad for victory at West Ham on Sunday.
Kirk was on the first team bench for the first time as the Gunners won 2-1.
The defender impressed during Arsenal's training camp in Dubai earlier this season and has produced some encouraging performances for the U23s, reports Jeorge Bird's Arsenal youth website.
Kirk, 19, has good leadership qualities and has developed well since signing scholarship terms in 2019.
A player who is composed in possession, he has made 21 appearances for the U23s.
Last season Kirk was named Arsenal's scholar of the year and he frequently stood out in first-team training sessions. This campaign he has had some difficulties with injuries but he remains highly regarded by the club.
Salah-Eddine and Zak Swanson are also on the bench today.
