Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho will be able to participate in their clash with West Ham United tomorrow.

The 18-year-old has been out with an injury he suffered against Southampton in March.

Garnacho has made 31 appearances for the club this season. He made his name in the club’s academy after leading them to last season’s Youth FA Cup title.

The former Atletico Madrid youth attacker has scored four goals and five assists this term for United since stepping up to the senior side.

His performances have led United to give him a five-year contract until 2028. He even got a call-up to the Argentine national team but could not honour it because of his injury.

Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag disclosed that Garnacho is back and could be in line to feature against the Hammers.

When asked if there was any team news ahead of the visit to the London Stadium, Ten Hag said (via Man Utd’s website): “Maybe one player [to add]: Garnacho. I have to see.

“Maybe he can be involved, but we will have to see how the progress can go.”

Ten Hag had already announced that Scott McTominay and Raphael Varane would not be in the squad.

Although, Ten Hag suggested that the Frenchman was ahead in his recovery and could be back later this month. The centre-back is in line to face Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

Varane sustained his injury during the first leg of their clash with Sevilla in the Europa League. McTominay sustained his injury against Everton days earlier.

Lisandro Martinez is out for the rest of the season. They will be hoping to have him back ahead of next term.

West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca, Kurt Zouma, and Vladimir Coufal will miss the Man Utd game with injuries.

However, Declan Rice, Nayef Aguerd, and Tomas Soucek will return after missing their last game against Manchester City.
