David Alaba has been named in the 2021 FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World11. It is the first time that the Austrian defender has secured a berth in the line-up and comes on the back of a season in which he lifted the Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the Bundesliga and the German Super Cup with Bayern Munich. He also featured for Austria in the EURO before joining Real Madrid.

The FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World11 has been named on the basis of votes cast by thousands of professional footballers from across the world and the line-up was revealed at the The Best Awards ceremony. Alaba is joined in the team by Donnarumma, Ruben Dias, Bonucci, Jorginho, Kanté, De Bruyne, Cristiano Ronaldo, Haaland, Lewandowski and Messi.
