l-Hilal are set to improve their offer for Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic as they close in on the signing of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar.
The Serbian striker, 28, wants to move to Saudi Arabia and has already agreed personal terms on a contract which would triple his £120,000-a-week wages at Craven Cottage.
Mitrovic is frustrated having so far been priced out of a move to Al-Hilal with the Cottagers asking for £50m after turning down a £35m offer last month.
Al-Hilal walked away from talks but, having made the breakthrough to sign Neymar from PSG for around £80m, have again restarted talks to bring in a forward alongside him.
Mitrovic has reassured his suitors that he has avoided injury despite being pictured arriving back in London on crutches after his substitute appearance in the 1-0 win over Everton on Saturday.
Neymar’s arrival only enhances the appeal of a move to the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Hilal keen to secure the Brazil international on a two-year deal in time to face Al-Fayha on Saturday.
The 31-year-old will reportedly earn £2.5m-a-week and wear the No10 shirt.
