Al-Hilal enquire into Aston Villa’s Amadou Onana | OneFootball

According to a report from Sacha Tavolieri, Al-Hilal have made an enquiry into Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana (23).

Tavolieri writes that the Saudi Arabian club have looked into the midfielder as an option this summer and have asked the Premier League side for information on the possibility of a transfer. Onana has reportedly not ruled out a move to the Middle East, although talks have not progressed beyond the early stages.

Aston Villa have not yet received a formal offer from Al-Hilal, who only arrived at the club from Everton last summer. If Onana were to leave, it would be the fifth club that he has played at during his short career, having previously made his debut for Hamburger SV in 2020 before joining Lille OSC in 2021 and leaving for Everton the following year.

Al-Hilal are looking to mount a title charge for next season’s Saudi Pro League having come second this season when they finished eight points behind Al-Ittihad.
