Milan striker Divock Origi is likely to leave the Rossoneri this summer and Saudi Arabian clubs are keen on the Belgian.
Daniele Longo has reported that the Rossoneri will not resist the farewell of the striker but have not put up a price tag on him, since he had arrived on a free transfer. They are more concerned about trimming the club’s wage bill.
In event of Origi’s exit, Milan will save about €13.5 million because he had initially signed a five-year deal and was earning €5.5 million per season. That is considered to be a hefty profit for the club.
The Rossoneri are pushing for his exit even though Origi had rejected offers from Saudi recently. But the prospect of not being a starter for Milan means that he could be convinced about leaving, especially with selection for the Euros beckoning next season. Four Saudi clubs are in the running for him and one of them is Al-Ettifaq, the club managed to Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard, who has already signed an ex-Red in Jordan Henderson.
It is now upto Origi to make a decision about his future and Milan could say goodbye even in the event of a low offer.
