The contractual dispute between Marcel Koller & Al Ahly SC's officially come to an end according to the Swiss coach’s agent, Dino Lamberti.

Dispute Resolved After April Exit

Koller who departed in April after Al Ahly’s CAF Champions league semi final elimination against Mamelodi Sundowns had a year remaining on his deal. He initially refused to waive the value of the remaining term insisting on full compensation.

3 Month Notice + Season Bonuses

In statement on Instagram , Lamberti confirmed:

"Out of mutual respect & appreciation between Al Ahly & Marcel Koller we’ve reached amicable resolution to all matters related to the coach’s contract"

The agreement saw Koller receive the equivalent of 3 months salary as notice period, in addition to all outstanding payments and season bonuses with his contract officially ending on 30 Jun 2025.
