Ayoub Amraoui has officially signed with Al-Ahli Sports in Qatar this Wednesday, July 16, 2025. A product of the OGC Nice academy, the 21-year-old Moroccan defender leaves Le Gym to embrace a new challenge in the Qatar Stars League.
Ayoub Amraoui, a true homegrown talent from Nice’s youth system, is set for his first experience outside Ligue 1 and France. The U23 Africa Cup of Nations champion heads to Qatar after returning from his loan spell at Martigues in the 2024-25 season, where he delivered a solid campaign (33 matches, including 30 in Ligue 2, 3 goals).
OGC Nice and Al-Ahli Sports Club, who finished fourth in last season’s Qatar Stars League, have reached a deal for the permanent transfer of the Moroccan left-back. His arrival at the Doha-based side was made official this afternoon following the departure announcement published by Le Gym.
