Ajax youngster exits on loan

Ajax have announced that talented youngster Youri Baas has departed on loan for the 2023/24 campaign.

The defender will join Nijmegen for the season in a deal that does not include an option for it to be made permanent.

Baas, one of the most exciting products of the Amsterdam giants’ youth academy, has three years remaining on his current contract.

Since making his breakthrough to the first team last season, he has featured 10 times.
