The 22-year-old striker is currently playing in the Eredivisie with Excelsior having joined the Rotterdam-based club on a season-long loan.

And it seems the possibility of him even returning to Hotspur Way in the summer could be in question with interest picking up in his services.

Parrott could leave Tottenham permanently

According to fresh reports coming out of Ireland, the striker has picked up the interest of the Dutch giants Ajax and PSV Eindhoven, to name just a couple.

The youngster is clearly impressing in the Eredivisie with Excelsior where he has been able to return seven goals and three assists in the Dutch top flight.

Parrott has only been able to rack up four appearances for the north London side over the years having come through the youth system.

However, his future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could be in doubt despite never playing under Ange Postecoglou.

Would Parrott be a big loss for Tottenham?

The youngster has been hailed as ‘quality‘ in the past during a spell on loan with MK Dons where he was able to provide a return of 10 goals.

However, his route into the thinking of Postecoglou seems extremely limited with a number of other young strikers currently impressing at the club.

Dane Scarlett has recently returned from a loan spell with Ipswich Town, but any hope of him uprooting Richarlison from the starting XI seem near impossible due to the Brazilian’s current form.

Parrott was expected to go on to do big things at Tottenham, however, it does feel like those days may be numbered.

Going into the summer window, the Irishman will have one-year remaining on his Spurs deal, leaving Daniel Levy with a big decision to make about what is next for the striker.
