Ajax set for bargain capture of highly-rated Porto youngster

Ajax are closing in on the signing of highly-rated Porto winger Francisco Conceição.

That’s according to Portuguese outlet Record, who report that the 19-year-old will fly to Amsterdam on Saturday after Ajax agreed to pay just €5m to terminate his contract with Porto.

Conceição – who is the son of Porto coach Sergio – will reportedly sign a five-year deal with the Eredivisie champions.

The right winger so far made 50 senior appearances for Porto – scoring three goals – and been capped 11 times by Portugal at U21 level.
