Ajax remain interested in Roma’s Justin Kluivert

Justin Kluivert is at the center of several transfer rumors following the latest stall in his long-awaited switch to Fulham as a result of the 23-year-old not meeting the necessary criteria for an English work permit.

As Roma and Fulham await a FA report on the matter, Kluivert is once again linked with his former club.

In fact, Tuttomercatoweb reports that Ajax are eying Kluivert as a last minute alternative to Haim Ziyech. Ziyech’s return from Chelsea is reportedly more complicated than initially the Dutch side expected.

Therefore, Kluivert could turn out to be a suitable and cheaper candidate to replace the Moroccan attacker.

Additionally, Lucas Ocampos’ failed transfer to Ajax from Sevilla could further boost chances of Kluivert’s return.
