West Ham have had an offer for Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus rejected.
That is according to the Athletic’s David Ornstein, who has provided an update on the Hammers’ transfer plans.
The undisclosed bid was instantly turned down as it falls below the asking price of the Amsterdam outfit, who previously agreed a €40m deal in principle with Brighton before that ultimately fell through.
Kudus has two years remaining on his contract at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
However, West Ham are closing in on the signing of former Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.
He is set to travel to London within the next day to finalise his arrival from Stuttgart.
