Ajax are on the verge of signing Chuba Akpom after reaching an agreement with Middlesbrough for the striker.
A fee of €12million plus €2m add-ons will take the 27-year-old from Teesside to Amsterdam, where he is set to sign a five-year deal.

Akpom enjoyed a stunning season last time around, top-scoring the Championship with 29 goals.
Ajax endured a disappointing third-placed finish in Eredivisie last season but kicked off the 2023-24 campaign with a 4-1 win over Heracles on Saturday.
