The 27-year-old right-back took to social media to express his frustrations and share his appreciation for the good wishes he’s received.
“Ended training camp yesterday with a torn anterior cruciate ligament,” read Klaiber’s post.
“The season will be different than I envisioned. I want to thank everyone for all the support.”
During the 2020/21 season, Klaiber made 22 appearances for the Eredivisie giants.
