Ajax coach Ten Hag responds to Newcastle link for Overmars

Ajax coach Erik ten Hag doesn't expect to see sporting director Marc Overmars leave for Newcastle United.

It's been claimed Overmars is in talks to take charge of Newcastle.

But Ten Hag said: "Marc has done a fantastic job since he came in and built a functioning structure.

"I also do not think that his job here is finished yet.

"Marc has not informed me of Newcastle's interest. I also do not think it's time for him to go to Newcastle now."
