Agustín Marchesín reveals his goalkeeping idol

Agustín Marchesín is without a doubt the best goalkeeper in Mexican football and was just been called up to Argentina.

Though he did not play, he was very honored to be with the Albiceleste for their second-straight international break.

On Friday, Marchesín revealed to Record his favorite goalkeeper of all-time.

“The one I’ve always liked, since I was young, is Iker Casillas. I have tremendous admiration for him.

“I grew up with Iker while he was with Real Madrid.

“What I like most about him is that he made impossible saves.

“It is very difficult to be at the highest level for so many years, and he still is.”

Marchesín and América will host Tigres on Saturday in a top-four battle.
