England have been woeful so far this afternoon and are staring down the barrel of their worst ever knockout defeat after a first half in which they failed to have a shot on target.
They began the second 45 better, though, and thought they had an equaliser when Phil Foden tapped in from five yards out via a Kieran Trippier pass.

However, their misfortune continued as VAR ruled it out for offside, with the Manchester City man having strayed ahead of the ball before tapping in.
Will they find a way back in, or is it going to be one of those days?
