AC Milan have begun to look at options in midfield, and an Empoli starlet is on their radar for next year. Imaginably, the Rossoneri could afford the move too.
The January mercato will open in 40 days, and Milan are beginning to finalise their shortlist ahead of its opening to ensure they are prepared.
It seems that the midfield is an area that will be looked at heavily, as the Rossoneri look to support Tijjani Reijnders and Youssouf Fofana, before attempting to move for Samuele Ricci in the summer.
Jacobo Fazzini, who has been on the Diavolo’s list for some time, seems the most recent target to enter the mix, and a move, perhaps, could occur in January.
With Paulo Fonseca set to trial a 4-3-3 this weekend, if the test is a success, perhaps his route into the team will not be so clear.
Stefano Ancilotti, a registered FIFA agent, spoke to La Nazione about the chances of a move, and the Rossoneri’s interest in the midfielder and his words have been relayed by Milan Press.
“If not in January I think he will definitely leave at the next summer market session. On Fazzini there is strong interest from AC Milan. What I can say is that a price of no less than 13/14 million euros has been set for Jacopo.”
The report also suggests Napoli are keeping tabs on the player, so Milan must act fast.
