Lucas Perez’s agent has remained coy over his client’s future plans, insisting that a stay at Arsenal would be down to new coach Unai Emery.
The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Deportivo La Coruña, scoring nine goals in 37 appearances for the relegated side.
The striker returned to London, but with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the Gunners squad, his playing time could be close to zero next term.
Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle though, who represents Perez, has claimed that any decision will be down to the 46-year-old tactician.
“What will happen? Lucas has a two-year contract with Arsenal, for now only this can be answered,” he told Radio Sei.
“The club has never put him on the market, it was the player who decided to move at the end of the last summer market.
“He was sorry to be on the bench, not to be called into the action.
“First we will know Arsenal’s plans, it is still too early to know what will happen.”
