The agent of Hector Bellerin says a permanent deal with Real Betis is an option.

The Arsenal fullback is a on a straight season-long loan with Betis. Bellerin joined Betis in the final days of the summer market and has quickly impressed under coach Manuel Pellegrini. So far this season, the defender has managed four appearances, producing one assist.

Via Fussball Transfers, agent Albert Botines told Goal.com: "There were many possibilities (last summer).

"It will certainly be possible (a permanent transfer) because he is happy. But it will depend on a lot of things, and most importantly, whether or not they make it to the Champions League.

"Because then they would have more budget to be able to afford the permanent transfer."

Bellerin has a deal with Arsenal to 2023. As Botines has stated, extending his stay with Betis could be dependent on whether they can clinch Champions League qualification. They currently sit in tenth position on the LaLiga table.

Originally snapped up from Barcelona's La Masia academy over a decade ago, Bellerin has four caps with Spain. His last appearance was in November 2020 for a friendly against Holland. The 26 year-old is hoping his return to the LaLiga will give him a better chance to win over Spain coach Luis Enrique for next year's Qatar World Cup.
