Agent of Sampdoria’s Emil Audero hints at Inter move | OneFootball

Emil Audero is very close to joining Inter, Gianluca di Marzio has reported. Inter are in the market for a backup goalkeeper to Yann Sommer, and Audero has emerged as the favourite. Football agent, Tullio Tinti was at Inter’s headquarters earlier and fielded some questions, including about the 26-year-old keeper.

He said “Important opportunity, for the goalkeeper and for Inter. Audero has done very well in the last few years. Will it be a loan operation? You have to ask Inter.”Audero currently plays for Sampdoria and started 25 leagues games last season. He has been Sampdoria’s consistent number one shot-stopper since joining the club in 2018. Last season was perhaps his best season yet, despite playing less games than in previous years.Lazio are also interested in the Italian keeper, but he is said to prefer Inter over anyone else. Inter will look to wrap up Audero’s signature as soon as possible, with the new season quickly approaching.
