The agent of midfielder Davide Frattesi says that Inter Milan do not want to sell him.
Agent Beppe Riso spoke to reporters after a meeting at the Nerazzurri headquarters, via FCInterNews. He admitted that the idea of a transfer for the 25-year-old was “more my thing.”
For much of the January transfer window, the rumours have been swirling about Frattesi.
Reports suggested that the former Sassuolo midfielder has grown unhappy with his playing time at Inter. And even that he wants a move to a new club where he’ll start more regularly.
The strongest links concerning Frattesi by far have been with Roma.
The Italian international is a boyhood Giallorossi fan, and came through their academy.
And by all accounts, Roma would be very keen to bring Frattesi to the Italian capital.
However, Roma wanting to sign Davide Frattesi and actually being able to agree a deal with Inter are very different things.
By all accounts, the Nerazzurri’s valuation for Frattesi would be very high. Some reports suggested that they would want as much as €50 million for the 25-year-old.
And while there had been one or two reports of a player-plus-cash offer, or an initial loan with a purchase obligation, it would be very tough for Roma to make a deal for that kind of a fee.
Frattesi’s agent Riso said of the midfielder that “We didn’t discuss him today.”
“They absolutely never wanted to sell him,” he added. “No one wants to sell him.”

Riso added that the idea of a transfer for Davide Frattesi was “more my thing.”
Meanwhile, Riso said that links to Roma were “More something from the beginning of the transfer window, but as I said it was my thing.”
“It wasn’t Inzaghi’s idea, or Inter’s,” Riso made clear.
“He’s happy, he said so.”
Then as far as the possibility of Frattesi being on the market in the summer, Riso said “We haven’t thought about it yet.”
