However, the Iranian’s future is hardly a mystery at this point.

As fans and observers are well aware by now, Taremi already has an agreement to join Inter as a free agent.

The bomber will thus join Simone Inzaghi’s ranks in the summer alongside Piotr Zielinski. The Nerazzurri have a similar arrangement for the Polish midfielder.

According to FcInter1908, Taremi’s agent Pastorello posted a photo of himself with the striker in Milan on his Instagram account.

The post included the caption: “He’s already in love with Milan”. However, the Italian agent decided to delete it shortly afterwards.

The attacker returned to Porto to join his teammates who are preparing for the Portuguese Cup final against Sporting Lisbon. The big tilt takes place this Sunday.

Taremi will be looking to end his memorable stint at Porto on a high note, especially after enduring a complicated campaign.

This season, the Iran international has contributed with 10 goals and seven assists in 34 appearances across all competitions for Porto.

The striker’s playing time decreased over the last few months, especially after agreeing a move to Inter in mid-season.

Taremi will arrive to bolster Inzaghi’s attacking department which already includes Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Marko Arnautovic.

On the other hand, Alexis Sanchez is likely to depart once his contract expires at the end of the season.

It remains to be seen if the management will acquire an additional striker in the summer.
